Actor Kartik Aaryan”s much-awaited sports drama Chandu Champion“s trailer has been released on Saturday, capturing the attention of the filmgoers. The movie tailor opens with war sequences, and shows the emotional and inspirational moments. The film was made inspired by the life of Murlikant Petkar, India”s first Paralympic gold medalist. Directed by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion will hit theatres on June 14.
The trailer fuels the anticipation, giving an adrenaline rush for the viewers. It shows Kartik Aaryan”s character (Murli) as an ambitious man to win a gold medal in the Olympics. During his childhood sequences, it shows the protagonist facing mocking from classmates, teachers and parents for his higher ambitions. He is seen being nicknamed as Chandu Champion by his peers.
A determined sportsman, the hero is presented as going through a lot of hardships and distinct situations. Sequences show the hero dreaming of being a sports champion, joining the Indian army, and turning to be a boxer and a survivor. While in the army, the hero suffers bullet injuries and falls into a coma for two years.
The scenes then show him going through tough training without surrendering to despair. The glimpses from the determined journey of the hero further towards his goal of becoming India”s first Paralympic gold medalist would certainly leave the cinephiles in awe.
The tailor also shows him in different ages including his old age, in which he is seen retuning his medals while filing a case against the president of India.

Kartik Aaryan had earlier released a poster of him standing in boxing attire wearing gloves and black shorts. Notably, Kartik Aaryan too has gone through considerable body transformation to get into the hero”s character.
