Frederick of the popular crime show CID, Dinesh Phadnis died last night around 12 am. As per media reports, the 57-year-old Mr. Phadnis was in critical condition and was battling for life with ventilator. The actor suffered from Liver damage. Reports suggested that the actor has went through heart attack too.
“Yes, it is true he is no more. It happened around 12:08 am. I am at his residence right now. His last rites will be conducted today at the Daulat Nagar crematorium”, said co-star and close friend of Mr. Phadnis, Dayanand Shetty to ETimes. All of his co-star from CID is present at the star’s house paying last visit. He was taken to Tunga Hospital of Mumbai on December 1.
Mr. Phadnis is popularly known as Frederick from his role in CID, one of the most popular detective show of Indian television industry. He worked for the show from 1998 to 2018. He is a household name for the 90s kids. Apart from CID, the actor appeared in a cameo role in another hit sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. The show was aired on Sony TV with captivating storyline and casts. he also did cameo roles in movies like Sarfarosh and Super 30.
