Dhanush’s 50th Film Raayan Hits Theaters Today

Dhanush’s most-awaited second directorial, “Raayan” gets a massive release today across the world. The Tamil film promises high-octane action sequences that are both written and directed by the actor, thereby making his second venture as a filmmaker.

Ever since the release of its first teaser glimpse and posters, the movie has garnered considerable attention from the fans. The cinephiles are all set to witness Dhanush in a never-seen-before look.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran, under the banner of Sun Pictures, the film also boasts of an ensemble star cast, including S.J Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar among others.

Dhanush essays the titular role in the film, which exposes the criminal underworld. The movie revolves around the story of a simple young man who seeks revenge for his family’s murder.

Rayaan is marked as Dhanush’s second directorial venture after his 2017 film “Pa Paandi”. The impressive ensemble in the film is expected to deliver compelling performances, further heightening anticipation for the film.

The film has already occupied a wide number of screens.

The movie will also be released in Tamil and Telugu languages simultaneously and the actor has kept the promotions for the film average as he didn’t want to hype the audience for his milestone film.
