Vineeth Srinivasan’s directorial prowess, Varshangalkku Shesham, will release today. The film weaves the labyrinthine globe of cinema through the experiences of Murali and Venu. It tells the story of another shade of friendship between the two over the period of five decades.
The film is set in 1970s and chronicles the life of two individuals navigating through their dreams to build their name in the cinematic world. The two, namely Venu, portrayed by Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Murali, portrayed by Pranav Mohanlal leave their hometown in Kerala setting out for Kodambakkam, Madras, which is considered as the hub of South Indian film industry during early 1970 s and 1980s.
