
ED Raids Homes Of Malayalam Actors Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Mammootty In Vehicle Smuggling Case
Kochi, Kerala: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has widened its investigation into the Bhutan luxury vehicle smuggling case, and the central agency is conducting raids in several locations, including the residences of popular Malayalam actors Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mammootty.
The Customs department had earlier conducted raids linked to the smuggling of vehicles from Bhutan and seized vehicles belonging to Dulquer Salmaan. The actor had challenged the law enforcement agency’s action, stating he purchased the car after completing all legal formalities.

The officials raided Dulquer Salmaan‘s Chennai home, which began early in the morning, were carried out under tight security, with armed personnel stationed outside the premises.
The ED currently raiding locations across Kerala and Tamil Nadu in connection with the ongoing probe into the smuggling of high-end luxury vehicles and unauthorised foreign exchange dealings.

The ED’s action comes amid the ongoing probe by Customs officials in Kerala against the actor in connection with the alleged illegal import of luxury cars from Bhutan.
