"Fitrat Nahi Badalti": Karan Johar Posts A Cryptic Story About Fillers And Botox

Bollywood director Karan Johar took to his Instagram stories to share a hilarious and almost poetic note, seemingly taking a dig at an actress in the industry.

In the cryptic Instagram story, KJo writes, “Fillers laga lo fulfilment nahin milti, Make up laga lo Umar nahi ghat thi, Karlo jitna bhi Botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya, Naak badalne se gand itar nahi banti, Going under the knife se exterior Badal bhi jaaye, Lekin meri jaan… Fitrat nahi badalti…”

Roughly translated, the story reads, “Applying filters does not bring fulfilment, applying makeup does not make you younger, No matter how much Botox you do, you will end up looking like a honey bee stung you, changing the shape of your nose won’t change the stink. Going under the knife will only change your exterior, but my dear, it won’t change your nature.”

Karan Johar Posts A Rather Strange Story On Instagram

Social media is abuzz with guesses on who the director aimed this story at and more importantly, what prompted him to share this. Do you have any guesses?

In terms of work, the director is reportedly going to work on the third installment of Student of the Year. However, this time, it will not be a film but a web series. Director Reema Maya, whose short film Nocturnal Burger was featured at the Sundance Film Festival last year, will be helming the project. On Sunday, Karan Johar made the announcement on the final day of the Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF) in Chandigarh.
