How Bollywood Heroines Graced Navaratri, Durga Puja Festivities

Bollywood heroines never fails to set the bar intact when in comes to slaying in traditional. Be it Diwali or Navaratri, the B-Town heroines made sure that they mark their own statement by appearing in phenomenal amalgamation of class, style, elegance and grace.

As India is bidding farewell to the auspicious festival of Navaratri, which is a celebration of triumph of good over evil, lets have a look at how the B-Town ladies adorned dolled themselves up.

The Bengali beauty of Bollywood appeared for Durga Puja adorned in pink traditional saree with minimal make up, but the Gajra that she opted to pair with her look, screams a 90s heroine vibe. With minimal make up and accessories paired with sleeveless blouse, Kajol in fluorescent pink saree looked stunning.

Bollywood’s “dream girl” Hema Malini, appeared in Durga Puja arranged by Rani Mukherjee in all her royal glory, adorned in royal blue saree paired with matching antique jewelleries, Hema Malini graced the floor with elegance. Her daughter Esha Deol too appeared for the pooja wearing an off-white saree like Rani Mukherjee. Both actresses appeared in nude make up looking ethereal in their off-white saree.

 

Like many other actresses, Jhanvi Kapoor chose to go with shades of pink for this Navaratri. In a lavender saree paired with golden coloured sleeveless blouse, she finished her look with nude make up and a choker and matching earring as accessory, looking oh so elegant.

Sonakshi Sinha took the Navaratri with a mix of fusion. Steering away from everyone else, this  time the “asli sona” of Bollywood has gone with a red kaftan with chic embroideries on neck. She completed her look with nude make up and a necklace with red beads and tiny earrings.
