Saiyami Kher Becomes The Only Indian Actress To Finish Ironman 70.3 Triathlon (Image-X/SaiyamiKher)
Saiyami Kher has made a remarkable achievement as she etched her name in the history of the prestigious Ironman 70.3 triathlon in Germany. She became the only Indian actress to successfully finish the physically demanding race.
The Ironman 70.3, also known as the Half Ironman is one of the most challenging endurance races in the world. Testing the limits of the athletes, the race consists of back-to-back 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, and 21.1 km running.

Being the most challenging race, even seasoned participants find it tough to crack. But the perseverance and dedication of the Mirzya actress helped her sail through the end, imprinting herself as one of the very few who managed to complete the race. Saiyami had been training herself for the past year, juggling between her busy film schedules and workout.
Sharing her adventurous experience, the actress said, “Crossing the finish line of the Ironman 70.3 and getting that medal has to be one of the proudest moments of my life. This has been on my bucket list forever, and I am just so happy I finally did it!”
Referring to her training sessions, the actress shared that she was juggling between 12 to 14-hour shooting and training sessions. She went through ups and downs with missed flights and lost luggage, but after everything, she made it to the finish. She also expressed that the race is ultimately a way to find her path.
“It showed me the power of determination and how if you put your mind to something no one can stop you. I’ll carry this moment with me forever! I want to be a Lambi race ki ghodi not only in endurance sport but also in my acting career” she added.

Saiyami Kher’s preparation for Ironman 70.3 involved balancing a rigorous training schedule with her demanding film commitments over the past year. The actress has been recording her training journey on her Instagram handle.
Known for her work in films such as Ghoomer (2023) and Choked (2020), Saiyami was last seen in 8 A.M. Metro alongside Gulshan Devaiah.
