"It Is An Official Hijack": Sidharth Malhotra's Yodha Teaser Out (image@SidMalhotra)

Sidharth Malhotra’s much anticipated Yodha teaser has been released. Tasked with a daunting mission of rescuing a hijacked Air India flight, Sidharth Malhotra shines in the role of a commando. The teaser promises a high-octane adrenaline rush.

The teaser starts with a customary flight announcement urging the passengers to fasten their seat belts. The cautionary voice in the backdrop also says that an impending storm in on the horizon. Anticipation weighs down when the Indian government is alerted about the hijacking of the flight, which was triggered by the pilot’s transmission of the code 7500, which is recognised as a distress signal for hijacking internationally. Here comes the hero in full commando mode.

Sidharth Malhotra’s character, who happens to be on the flight takes situation in to his hands. The teaser then shows intense fighting with the hijackers. Malhotra appeared dashing in military attire.

Helmed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the film also features Rashi Khanna and Disha Patani in lead roles. While Khanna plays the role of a government official, the teaser shares a glimpse of Patani as air hostess.

Yodha is said to be a join venture between Dharma Production, Prime Videos, and Mentor Disciple Films. It is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. Originally slated to release on last July, the date of release then changed to September 15, and then later December 8. The film is all set to hit silver screens on March 15.
