Kanguva Updates: Makers Employed AI To Dub Suriya's Voice In 8 Languages (Image-X/KanguvaTheMovie)

As the release date of Suriya’s upcoming mighty vigilant saga is nearing, the expectations of the audience over Kanguva is also bubbling up with each new updates. At this point of time, the producer KE Gnanavel Raja revealed interesting facts about the film.

Booming as a pan Indian film, the fantasy thriller will be released in eight languages and will also occupy 3,500 theaters across the world. Apart from Tamil, the film is set to be released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, English, Spanish and french. With many more updates to be dropped, the film has locked 14th November as its release date.

With an ensemble cast of Suriya, Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in lead roles, the fantasy action film includes Natarajan Subramaniam, Kitcha Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Chakraborty and Anand Raja in key roles.

Being one of the most expensive Indian films ever made in India, it is estimated that this film was made with a budget of around Rs.300 crores. Progressing with the post production, apart from a song sequence, almost the entire film has been converted into 3D format.

Here comes the interesting factor, which set the film different from the usual pan Indian releases. Unlike other films, instead of using dubbing artist for the leads voice in other languages, the makers have employed AI for the process. Kanguva team is working on recreating Suriya’s voice in every language using the technological advancements. This seems quite interesting, isn’t it?

Apart from this the makers have a disappointing announcement for the audience as well. Fans were excited about the IMAX release of the film, but as per the recent report, the Studio Green chief has revealed that Kanguva will not be released in IMAX format.

In his chat with the cinephiles, KE Gnanavel Raja also hinted that the second look of Suriya from the film, which features the actor in a get-up of a modern man, will be revealed in a couple of days. Even though the producer refrained from revealing more details, the netizens believe that he is hinting at the long-awaited Kanguva second single, featuring Suriya and leading lady Disha Patani. An official announcement on the same is expected to be out soon.
