IIT Madras Zanzibar Extends Application Deadline For 2026 UG, PG Programs

IIT Madras Zanzibar, the first international campus established by an IIT, has invited applications for its 2026 intake across the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Data Science, AI, and Chemical Process Engineering. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website – admissions.iitmz.ac.in.

The campus was established in 2023 and has evolved into a diverse and inclusive academic hub with strong international representation and a 100% placement rate for its first M.Tech cohort.

The application deadline has been extended to April 20, 2026. Notably, the application window was opened on December 3, 2025. The screening test will take place on June 6, 2026, followed by an online interview in Mid-End June.

Admission letters will be issued to the qualified candidates in early July 2026.
