Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu has teamed up again for a comedy film named Khel Khel Mein. The film is helmed by Mudassar Aziz, who is known for films like ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’, and ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. The shoot for the film had been wrapped up in March and the film is prepping to hit silver screen soon. Khel Khel Mein offers a “rollercoaster ride of laughter, drama & loads of fun!”.

While announcing the warp of the film’s shooting, the team wrote, “brace yourself for an exhilarating mix of laughter and drama”. Reportedly, the film started its shooting in October last year. It is slated to release on September 6, this year. Notably, the release of the film coincides with the birthday week of Akshay Kumar, which is on September 9th.
Apart from Akshay and Taapsee, the film also stars Fareed Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal in lead roles. Khel Khel Mein is said to be a situational comedy film with three couples. During an interview, Akshay Kumar said that he is getting back to doing the comedy genre. He said he have a number of movies lined up in the genre, including, Welcome To The Jungle, and Houseful 5.
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah,Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai.
