Director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, famous for her comedy entertainer Kadhalikka Neramillai, is now setting her tracks for her next with renowned actor Vijay Sethupathi. The official announcement is expected to be made soon.
As per reports, Kiruthiga is all set to begin her next film with Sethupathi, known for his diverse portrayals and strong performances. This will be their first collaboration.

The project with the Maharaja actor has generated great anticipation among the fans.

Vijay Sethupathi has been busy with several other projects. The actor signed promising and diverse films with prominent directors, including Ace with Arumuga Kumar and Train with Mysskin.
The actor will also be seen in Gandhi Talks, a silent film directed by Kishore Pandurang Belekar. Notably, the film premiered at the International Film Festival of India in 2023. Along with the Jawan actor, the film also stars Arvind Swamy, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Siddharth Jadhav in prominent roles.

Kiruthiga’s recent Kadhalikka Neramillai, starring Ravi Mohan and Nithya Menen in the lead, explored the concept of modern-day love while focusing on living together relationships and received a lukewarm reception. The film bombed the box office as it just earned Rs 16.50 crore. However, the film’s music, composed by AR Rahman, received a massive reception from the audience.
Set against the backdrop of the IT industry, Kadhalikka Neramillai is a romantic comedy that centers on Sid (Ravi Mohan), a man who is completely against the idea of falling in love or starting a family. But what happens when he finds the right one? The film is available on Netflix.
