Liam Payne's Body Withheld from Family Until Clinical Tests are Completed.
The body of Liam Payne, the British musician who died in Buenos Aires on October 17 will not be returned to his family until authorities finish their clinical tests, according to the reports. This is expected to happen next week but results might be available as soon as this weekend. Geoff Payne, Liam’s father arrived in Buenos Aires on Friday. His father greeted fans outside the hotel thanking them for their support and prayers. He extended gratitude for the memorial filled with photos, letters, candles and flowers.
As per the reports, authorities allowed him to see his son’s body in the morgue and he also visited the hotel where Liam stayed but couldn’t enter his son’s room due to the ongoing investigation. Liam Payne died after falling from the third floor of his hotel. The cause of death was reported as “polytrauma” with internal and external bleeding. Also, authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding his final moments and they suspect Liam might have been experiencing substance abuse issues (drugs and drinks) at the time.

Following his death, Liam’s former bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik honoured him with a group statement and individual remembrances. Fans also mourned the loss of a gifted artist who had grown alongside them and his legacy extends beyond One Direction‘s impressive discography.

Talking about Liam Payne, he was born on August 29, 1993, in Wolverhampton, England. His journey to stardom began on the UK version of “The X Factor” in 2010 and later formed One Direction as a boy band. Alongside Louis Tomlinson and the aforementioned artists, One Direction rose to unparalleled success capturing the love and affection worldwide. It was on Wednesday he died at the age of 31 after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony in Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires. Argentine police confirmed the tragic incident which occurred at a hotel in the upscale Palermo district. Payne was reportedly found in the hotel’s interior patio, with emergency responders declaring him dead at the scene.
