Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, known for her role in Raees and Humsafar, began a new chapter of her life with her long-time partner, Salim Karim over the weekend. The glimpses of her dreamy wedding were later shared on her official Instagram page.
The video of her intimate wedding was shared with the caption ‘My Shehzada, Salim’. The clip began with Mahira’s entry along with Salim’s voice played behind, he says, “My Mahira, she is very spiritual women and because of her, I have become spiritual”.

Among the photos she shared, the one in which she walked the aisle holding hand with her son, stood out. Mahira Khan chose a gorgeous pastel white lehenga for her fairytale wedding. In the dreamy outdoor setting, attended by close friends and family, she said to her life partner Salim ‘Kubool hei’. Her bridal lehenga is designed by Faraz Manan. While, Salim went with contrasting black sherwani complemented by a special blue turban.
The very first glimpse of her wedding was posted on her Instagram in which she along with her partner posses against in the backdrop of sunset captioned ‘Bismillah’, meaning in “the name of God”.

Mahira Khan was previously married to Ali Askari. They both parted ways in 2015. Their only son Azlan has now blossomed into a 13 year old. Salim is a multifaceted entrepreneur, who has made his mark in the business world as the CEO of Karachi-based startup Simpaisa. They got engaged few years ago.
Mahira Khan is known for her performances in popular TV shows like Humsafar, Sadqay Tumhare and Shehr-e-Zaat and her debut in Pakistani films with Atif Aslam’s Bol. On work front, Mahira Khan is set to headline Netflix”s first Pakistan-themed original ‘ titled Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo’ with Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed.
