Manisha Koirala Was Thrilled After The 10 Downing Street Visit: Here’s The Reason

Manisha Koirala, basking in the glory of the positive response to her recently released Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, recently visited 10 Downing Street to celebrate United Kingdom – Nepal relations and 100 years of our friendship. After the visit, she shared her excitement about interesting details to the series. According to her, most of the attendees had seen the series and she says they all loved it. “I was thrilled,” wrote the Bollywood actress who made a stunning comeback with the lead character in the Sanjay Leela Bansali-directed drama series.

The actress, who was born in Nepal into an influential political family, said the UK Prime Minister spoke about her country fondly and according to her, it was a pleasure to hear him do that. She also wrote about her invitation to the UK PM to do trekking in Everest Base Camp. 

“It was an honor to be invited to 10 Downing Street to celebrate United Kingdom – Nepal relations and 100 years of our friendship treaty. It was such a pleasure to hear Prime Minister Rishi Sunak speak fondly of our country Nepal. I took the liberty of inviting the P.M. and his family to come trek to Everest Base Camp,” the Khamoshi and Indian actress wrote on Instagram along with sharing photos with the Prime Minister. As per the images shared by the actress, she also did a customary 10 Downing Street click.  

“Can you believe that most of the attendees had seen Heeramandi and loved it? I was thrilled!!,” she wrote.
