“Manoj Bajpayee Improvised The Scenes But SRK Sticks To The Script” Priyamani Says (image-instagram/priyamani)

Priyamani who was recently seen in SRK superhit ‘Jawaan’, was asked about her experience in acting along with Manoj Bajpayee and Shah Rukh Khan during an interview with Etimes, and she said that “half of the scene in the Family Man was improvised by Manoj while Shah Rukh Khan likes to stick to the scrip for the most part”. Shah Rukh Khan and Manoj Bajpayee was both trained under acting coach Barry John.

She has also received a lot of acclaim after starring alongside Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man. She described King Khan’s acting process as ‘lively and fun’. He tries to bring different flavours to the character, she added.

“There’s not much of a difference between the two if you compare them, but they are different for sure,” she said.

In an earlier interview which she has given to Connect FM Canada, Priyamani shared her experience with Shah Rukh Khan repositioning her when they were shooting ‘Zinda Banda’, as he considers her as his dance teacher. He said, ‘What are you doing behind me?’ I said, ‘I don’t know, sir. They’ve placed me behind you. This is what they said.’ He said, ‘No,’ and took my hand, caught my shoulder and made me stand next to him. He told Shobi master and Atlee sir that, ‘I want this girl to stand next to me. I don’t care what the choreography is. I don’t get anything. She is my dance teacher right from Chennai Express. I don’t care even if I go wrong. I’m going to look at her only and we’re going to do so’, she recalled.

In the interview she also revealed the heartwarming camaraderie she shared with SRK and her crush towards him. She shared her delightful experience and memorable encounters with King Khan from the set of ‘Jawaan’.

At the workfront, Priyamani has joined the cast of Mohanlal’s Malayalam movie ‘Neru’. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Neru is a legal thriller written by Jeethu alongside Santhi Mayadevi.
