Masaba Gupta To Ramiz Raja; Grace, We "Have It In Spades. You Have None"
Masaba Gupta, actor and fashion designer, slammed ex-Pakistani cricketer and former Pakistan Cricket Board chief, Ramiz Raja for laughing at a racist comment charged at her parents, veteran actor Neena Gupta and West Indies batting legend Vivian Richard. He said the former Pakistani cricketer lacks grace and she and her parents “have it in spades”.
The reaction came after a two-month-old clip about a Pakistani TV news channel made a quip about her parents and Mr. Raja was seem laughing at the comment.
Taking to her X (formerly twitter) account, the fashion designer wrote that Mr. Raja has no grace and it is sickening to see him laughing at something “the world has stopped laughing at about 30 years back”, and asked him to “step onto the future”.

Sharing the same post in her Instagram story, she wrote, “It’s nearly 2024 – no matter who you are I will call you out on racism & shaming my mother on television. Won’t have it. That is still my fight”.
The video showed the former Pakistan Cricket Board chief laughing at an objectionable remarks made by a woman, who seems to a guest on the show. She said, “I do watch cricket matches an my heart broke when Vivian Richards went into relationship with Neena Gupta. I wrote a couplet then. “jo ladkiyan khud ko kehti hain malika-e-aliya, Unko fir milta hai Mr. Kaliya”. The show was aired on September 12, during the Asia Cup 2023, says report.
Neena Gupta and Vivian Richard has Masaba out of wedlock. Masaba’s parents lived separately through put their life. The veteran actor, Ms. Gupta gave birth to Masaba on November 2, 1989 and raised her daughter alone. She got married to Vivek Mehra in 2008.
Masaba got married to Satyadeep Misra in January this year. She tied the knot in the presence of her two fathers and shared a nice picture of her “beautiful blended family” on her Instagram.
