Pranav Mohanlal To Star In Bramayugam Director Rahul Sadasivan's Next Horror Thriller?
Pranav Mohanlal, the son of legendary actor Mohanlal might be teaming up with director Rahul Sadasivan for his next horror thriller as per reports.
Rahul Sadasivan‘s recent film Bramayugam was a huge success and received critical acclaim. The film, which starred Mammootty in a negative role, was shot in black and white and entered the 50 crore club. He is notable in the industry for his horror films with unconventional filmmaking styles and uncanny narratives. He directed Boothakaalam in 2022 and has garnered several accolades for its gripping and spine-chilling visuals.

According to reports, Pranav Mohanlal might be playing the lead role in Rahul Sadasivan’s next film. The movie is expected to be a horror thriller and will be co-produced by Rahul Sadasivan himself. The film’s shooting is expected to begin in January or February 2025 and will be filmed over 40 days.
Pranav Mohanlal has been away from the limelight for a while now. His last film, Varshangalkku Shesham was released in 2022 and received positive reviews. Pranaav has also been working on his farm in Spain and has been keeping a low profile.
Rahul Sadasivan’s next film is highly anticipated, especially after the success of Bramayugam. The film’s dialogues were written by famous Malayalam author T D Ramakrishnan which added to its acclaim.
Pranav‘s journey in the film industry began as a child actor in “Punarjani” (2003), earning him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist.

He later assisted director Jeethu Joseph and debuted as a lead actor in “Aadhi” (2018), which became a hit. His Malayalam movie “Hridayam” by Vineeth Sreenivasan was also a blockbuster and has secured the Kerala State Award for the popular film category.
In 2024, he acted in ‘Varshangalk Shesham” by Vineeth Sreenivasan in 2024. Pranav has also showcased his musical talents, writing, singing and performing the song “Gypsy Women” in Aadhi.
