Mollywood superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran celebrated his birthday by announcing his upcoming film, ‘Khalifa’, on October 16, Wednesday directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vysakh. Prithviraj shared the film’s second look poster today on Instagram featuring a golden gun. The movie’s script is penned by Jinu V Abraham who is known for ‘Kaduva’ and ‘Adam Joan’. The film also boasts an impressive technical crew, including cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, music composer Jakes Bejoy, editor Shameer Muhammed and art director Shajie Naduvil. ‘Khalifa’ is Vysakh’s next project after the blockbuster ‘Pulimurugan‘ and with its promising cast and crew, expectations are high among fans.

The movie’s tagline, “Vengeance will be written in gold,” has already hinted at a gripping revenge thriller as the first look poster released in October 2022 introducing his character as ‘Ruler’, aptly fitting the title ‘Khalifa’.

‘Khalifa’ is anticipated to be an action-packed revenge drama that would explore themes of power and retribution.
