Shah Rukh Khan is known for his witty and savage replies. In today”s AskSRK session which was being held as promotion for his upcoming comedy-tragedy movie Dunki, an individual on X (formerly Twitter) found themselves at the receiving end of his “savagery.” When this person attributed the success of Shah Rukh Khan”s last two films, “Jawan” and “Pathaan,” to PR work, the King Khan responded heavily, giving it back in his own language.

A handle with a name ‘Varisht Bharat’ asked Shah Rukh Khan: “Due to your highly effective and efficient PR team last two tatti movies of your became a blockbuster.. do you still hv faith in ur PR and marketing team that #Dhunki will also bcm a hit and will be a another golden tatti from #Bollywood”.

Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his first project with hit director Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki, which is slated for December 22. The movie will hit the theaters as a Christmas and New Year release, and expected to break records in box office. As normal, the process of record breaking has already started; Dunki trailer created history on YouTube as the most watched Hindi trailer in the 24 hours of its release. The video released on Tuesday and as of Wednesday noon the trailer garnered 62 million views and is still counting. Dunki‘s trailer views outdone Prabhas starrer Salaar: The Ceasefire Hindi trailer which recorded 53.7 million views in a day of release. Since both are Christmas releases, Dunki and Salaar are going to clash at the Box Office.

Hype over the box office performance of this Shah Rukh Khan movie is built around several factors. Mainly it is because of the collaboration between the director and the lead actor. Shah Rukh Khan, who previously was the first choice for Hirani as Munnabhai and could not be be part of the series due to date issues, reportedly joining hands with the 3 Idiots director as he was having dry run at the box office before Pathaan and Jawan, two box office behemoths.
