Dunki Trailer creates history on YouTube celebrating as the most watched Hindi trailer in the 24 hours of its release. The video released on Tuesday and as of Wednesday noon the trailer garnered 62 million views and is still counting. Dunki“s trailer views outdone Prabhas starrer, Salaar: The Ceasefire Hindi trailer which recorded 53.7 million views in a day of release. Since both are Christmas releases, Dunki and Salaar are going to clash at the Box Office.
After the blockbuster Pathaan and Jawan, the movie goers are waiting for Shah Rukh Khan”s Dunki, scheduled for a Christmas release. Makers advance the hype around the movie by releasing teaser-like promos naming them as Drop 1, and Drop 2.
Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki is presented by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films. Aside from Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, Satish Shah, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, Dharmendra, and many others. Dunki is written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon.
The movie is scheduled to release worldwide on December 21. The film marks his debut collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani who is known for his movies, Sanju, 3 Idiots, PK and Munna Bhai series.
