Shark Tank India”s panel member Anupam Mittal, founder of shaadi.com, understands business and its jargon like no one else. He is well-versed in category creation and minces no words while interacting with the pitchers. However, in a recent episode of Shark Tank India Season 3, Mittal was shell-shocked after learning the monthly salary drawn by the founders of startup Nasher Miles.
Nasher Miles deals in making trendy travel luggage and is a D2C brand. The Founder & Marketing Head of Nasher Miles, Shruti Kedia Daga draws INR. 5.75 lakh per month, Lokesh Daga, Founder & CEO of Nasher Miles draws INR lakh, and Abhishek Daga Founder & Chairman of Nasher Miles, draws INR 7 lakh monthly.
After Mittal was taken by surprise by their revelation, Kedia replied by saying, “Anupam hum South Bombay mein rehte hain”.

Nasher Miles claimed that their sales was around INR 11 crore. Mittal responded to Kedia”s comment by highlighting that he has been building and selling companies for the last 20 years but has never drawn such a huge sum as salary.
It was also a first-in-kind face-off between pitchers on Shark Tank India in which Assembly and Nasher Miles were pitted against each other.
Aman Gupta, Ritesh Agarwal, Mittal, Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar a were part of the panel, as investors, during the episode of Shark Tank India Season 3.
