8 Thottakkal fame director Sri Ganesh has cooked up an emotional family drama with the secret ingredient surrounding the dream of building an own house. Just like the title, the story tends to narrate a family’s emotions behind constructing their own 3BHK house.

After creating a striking impact with a realistic teaser, the makers have now announced the release date of the film. Produced by Shanthi Talkies, the film boasts an ensemble cast with Yogi Babu, Chaithra J Acha and others joining the leads. Notably, this film will reunite the romantic Suryavamsam duo Devayani and Sarath Kumar.
As per the announcement made by the production house Shanthi, 3BHK is scheduled to hit theaters on July 4, 2025. This announcement comes with an interesting teaser that depicts the concept of the film.

About the film, Sarath Kumar, the lead actor, said, “Every phase of my life is shown, the ambition to build a home, and there comes along my wife, first child and second child, pressures from society, and more. Both myself and my wife in the film, Devyani, are aging. It is a character that is changing, both physically and mentally.”
Written and directed by Sri Ganesh, the music of the film was scored by Amrit Ramnath. The technical crew consists of Dinesh Krishnan and Jithin Stanislaus cranking the camera and Ganesh Siva editing the film.
