The critically acclaimed directorial debut of Fazil Razak, Thadavu, translates to sentence, explores the solitary life of a woman, and features the themes of isolation and resilience. Director Fazil won the Best Director award of the Kerala State awards, and actress Beena R. Chandran bagged the Best Actress award of the Kerala state awards for the film Thadavu.

The film, which gained international recognition and acclamation, features actress Beena R. Chandran as the lead along with P. P. Subramanian, Anitha NM, Ishak Musafir, and Haritha P. Written and directed by Fazil Razak, the film was produced by Pramod Dev, Fazil Razak, and Tanvi Gandhi.

Offering a deep narrative, the film has cinematography by Mridul S, editing by Vinayak Suthan, and the background score by Vaisakh Somanath.
