
Vidaamuyarchi OTT Release: Netflix Announces The Date
Actors Ajith and Trisha’s action entertainer, Vidaamuyarchi, is finally reaching to the OTT platforms. The streaming giant Netflix has unveiled the release date of the blockbuster film today. Check out the release date here:
Directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi brought back the celebrated combo Ajith and Trisha on screen along with a stellar cast including Arjun Sarja, Arav, Regina Cassandra, and Ramya Subramanian.
The anticipation around the film’s OTT release was quite high, since the film received mixed reviews on its theatrical run. And now, Netflix has announced that the film will be streaming from March 3. The streaming platform also revealed that audiences can enjoy this action entertainer in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

The film, which was released amid high anticipation on February 6, crossed Rs. 70 crore in the first week. But later the film received mixed reactions from the audience as it featured the actor in a different light. Even though the film was praised for its making and Ajith’s performance, it failed to satisfy the expectations of the hardcore Ajith fans. The film underperformed at the box office and earned around Rs 135 crore during its theatrical run.

Vidaamuyarchi is the adaptation of the 1997 Hollywood crime thriller Breakdown starring Kurt Russell, Kathleen Quinlan, and J. T. Walsh.
This Magizh Thirumeni directorial revolves around Arjun (played by Ajith), a man who embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue his wife, Kayal (Trisha Krishnan), who has been captured by a notorious group in Azerbaijan.
