Heartbreak season has begun, it seems. Actor couple Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia have reportedly broken up after dating each other for nearly two years. Neither of them has confirmed the news yet.

According to reports, the two have called it quits but continue to maintain a good friendship. The duo parted ways a few weeks ago but continue to hold mutual respect and admiration for each other, reported Pinkvilla, quoting sources.

The couple sparked dating rumours amid the release of Netflix’s Lust Stories 2 in 2023. Soon after the release of their first project together, the couple never hid their relationship status. Both Vijay and Tamannaah would often speak of each other lovingly and made their relationship public while keeping their personal lives under secrecy.

Fans were also treated to lovey-dovey photos of both during photoshoots, giving major couple goals.

In an interview, the Jaane Jaan actor expressed how the former couple had come to a mutual agreement that there was no need to keep their relationship under wraps if they enjoyed spending time with each other.

Previously, Tamannaah had described her relationship with Vijay as having bloomed organically. She expressed how she didn’t need to feel guarded around him and felt she could be herself.

On the work front, Vijay Varma was last seen in the Netflix series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack and Jaane Jaan. He is all set to appear in Vibhu Puri’s Ul Jalool Ishq, where he will share screen space with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Naseeruddin Shah. He also has Suriya 43, directed by Sudha Kongara, lined up where Vijay will star alongside Suriya, Dulquer Salmaan, and Nazriya.

Meanwhile, Tamannaah was last seen in Netflix’ Sikandar Ka Muqqadar, alongside Avinash Tiwary and Jimmy Sheirgill. She will soon appear in Odela 2, a horror-thriller Telugu film.
