The B-town brides are setting new style statements with their wedding look. From choosing pastel colour attire, to nude makeup, the Bollywood divas are embracing new sensibilities in their wedding ensemble, a beautiful amalgamation of traditional and contemporary elements.
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt, who got married to Ranbir Kapoor in April, 2022, opted minimalist approach over the traditional wedding look. For her wedding attire, instead of the classic Sabyasachi red lehenga, she went for ivory-and-gold organza saree. By embracing the six yards of elegance over the lehenga, Ms. Bhatt also made distinct fashion statement. Her saree was complemented with heavy choker necklace, matching jhumkas, and matha patti. Her choice of minimal makeup, attuned well with the attire and she slayed the unconvential bridal look with charm.

Kiara Advani
Kiara Advani, on the other hand, chose soft rose lehenga as her bridal wear. Ms. Advani married to Siddharth Malhotra in February 2023, has also went with pastel instead of traditional red. The Manish Malhotra lehenga with intricate work, and fine detailing in dupatta was an attire of perfection. She paired the bridal look with set of natural diamonds and Zambian emeralds from Manish Malhotra’s high-end diamond jewellery collection. Along with emerald neckpieces, she has chosen matching earrings, and a maang tikka. Also, Ms. Advani’s preference for muted rosy makeup, reflected the contemporary choice of the Indian bride.

Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti Chopra, tied the knot with Raghav Chadha last weekend, also exuded elegance and charm in her bridal ensemble. She wore an ecru-coloured Manish Malhotra lehenga with intricate artwork and subtle ornate details. Ms. Chopra accentuated the style with adding two dupattas – one she wore over neck and other carried as a veil with Raghav’s name embroidered on it in the back. She contrasted the subtle ethnic bridal aesthete with heavy jewels – layered necklace in two hues of green, and oversized maang-tikka. Along with it, she wore, light pink chooda set, and added special customised kaleeras. Her nude-toned makeup, flowy hair and minimal mehandi attuned the bridal style to perfection.
