In an interview with Empire Magazine, Cameron promised that the upcoming sequel will be filled with unexpected twists and deeper storytelling, as he mentioned that his objective is not to repeat what he has done in the last two movies but instead to make choices that are “brave” that might not be expected necessarily.

While the first two Avatar films introduced the viewers to the stunning world of Pandora and its vibrant culture, the third installment seems to drive the audience to the deeper layers. Hinting at his brave takeover of meeting the high expectations of the audience in the film, the filmmaker stated, “If you are not making brave choices, you are wasting everyone’s time and money.”

On the production front, the film has completed twice as many shorts at this stage, compared to the production of its previous venture, Avatar: The Way of Water.
