Yodha’s Mid-Air Trailer Launch, A First In The World For A Movie

In a first that has set a new standard for film promotions worldwide, the team behind the upcoming Indian action thriller “Yodha” took to the skies to unveil its trailer mid-air. Karan Johar, filmmaker and producer of the movie, shared the exhilarating experience on Instagram, expressing his excitement to be among the media fraternity for this unprecedented event.

“Up above the world so high, that”s #YodhaTrailer in the sky!!! What an absolutely thrilling day to be amongst our media fraternity and experience our trailer with them mid-air! Thank you to each and every one of you to indulge in it wholeheartedly and all the love you gave to it! Yodha in cinemas March 15,” Karan Johar wrote, encapsulating the excitement surrounding the innovative trailer launch.

“Yodha,” directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, is a highly anticipated project produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film boasts a stellar cast including Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani.


The teaser of the movie was released on February 19. Tasked with a daunting mission of rescuing a hijacked Air India flight, Sidharth Malhotra shines in the role of a commando in the teaser that promises a high-octane adrenaline rush. The teaser starts with a customary flight announcement urging the passengers to fasten their seat belts. The cautionary voice in the backdrop also says that an impending storm in on the horizon. Anticipation weighs down when the Indian government is alerted about the hijacking of the flight, which was triggered by the pilot’s transmission of the code 7500, which is recognised as a distress signal for hijacking internationally. Here comes the hero in full commando mode.

Scheduled for theatrical release on March 15, 2024, “Yodha” marks Sidharth Malhotra”s latest theatrical venture following his outings in 2023″s “Mission Majnu” and 2022″s “Thank God.” Meanwhile, his action-packed series “Indian Police Force,” directed by Rohit Shetty, continues to stream on Amazon Prime.
