KC Venugopal, the Congress Alapuzha MP, received an alert about a ‘malicious spyware’ found on his iPhone on Saturday. Following this, he posted a message criticising PM Modi for allegedly sending the Pegasus spyware to monitor his activities. He mentioned that Apple, the phone maker, protected him from the “special gift” sent by the PM.
Thank you PM Modi ji for sending your favourite malicious spyware on my phone also!
Apple has been kind enough to intimate me about this special present of yours!

As he attaches the screenshot of the device’s message, it was said that the phone company had already alerted detecting spyware previously on October 30, 2023, and informed another attack against the device. The message clearly stated that the mercenary spyware intends to collect data regarding your activities, designation, who you are and what you do.
Venugopal takes a dig raising concerns that the act of PM Modi’s government is going beyond and forth unconstitutional manner indicating criminal practices going behind political opponents and this malpractice has to be considered a felony. The representatives also intend to combat this privacy breach and fight against this fascist agenda, he added.
Earlier, a similar Pegasus spyware alert was reported by Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Kashmir chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti. In 2023, several Journalists and government critics in India were similarly targeted with Pegasus Spyware which resulted in the humungous hate campaign against the Modi government’s crooked attack.
It took researchers years to track the software by Israeli company the NSO group and how it was used to access the data especially a phone’s email, messages even pre-used photos. It was on June 25, Union Minister Amit Shah declared the day ‘Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas’ (Constitution Murder Day) to acknowledge the struggles made by every individual who opposed the abusive power that befell during the emergency period in 1977, as the idea intends to pay respectful deference to the constitution and democracy in India.
However, the opposition contempt this declaration as they slam PM Modi who engaged in negative politics throughout the ruling period, eavesdropping on people’s privacy have no right to speak about the constitution or democracy.
