Sharing the news on social media platform X, actor mentioned that his uncle played a pivotal role in shaping his personality and was considered as a “heroic figure” in the family.

“Uncle Aruir Srinivasan, who played a major role in shaping my personality, passed away today at the age of 92 in Kodaikanal. Uncle Vasu was a heroic figure among his relatives and friends for his revolutionary ideas and brave deeds,” Kamal Haasan wrote on X.
Adding further, he wrote: “His body will be brought to the People’s Justice Center office tonight for last rites. I would like to inform you that tomorrow (23-04-24) at 10:30 am cremation will be done at Besant Nagar Min Mayan.”
