BJP's Samrat Choudhary Likely To Be New Bihar Chief Minister After Nitish Kumar

Patna, Bihar: As Bihar is witnessing a major political transition after Nitish Kumar stepped down as chief minister after serving more than two decades, the state has paved the way for its first BJP-led government. The party on Tuesday, April `14, elected Samrat Choudhary as the leader of the BJP legislative party.

Samrat Choudhary, hence, is likely to be the BJP’s first chief minister in Bihar. The development comes as former chief minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar was recently elected to the Rajya Sasha.
