Chest Pain: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar Admitted To Delhi's AIIMS

New Delhi: After experiencing chest pain and uneasiness, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. The Rajya Sabha speaker was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU), and a group of doctors are monitoring his condition, reports news agency PIT.

The 73-year-old Dhankhar was taken to the hospital around 2 am, and is being treated under Dr Rajiv Narang, Head of the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS. The Vice President is stable and remains under medical supervision, the news agency added, quoted sources.

Union Minister and BJP leader JP Nadda visited AIIMS to enquire about Dhankhar’s at the hospital.
