‘Delighted To Know You Found Joy’: Narendra Modi To Mick Jagger

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that he is delighted that legendry Rockstar Mick Jagger enjoyed his stay in India and also shared the title of one of his famous songs in a post on X. “‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’, but India is a land brimming with seekers, offering solace and ‘Satisfaction’ to all. Delighted to know you found joy among the people and culture here. Do keep coming…,”he wrote on X.

Mick Jagger shared a post on X on Friday in Hindi of him singing and expressed his happiness at his stay in India. “Thanks India. Got away from it all here! Away from routine work, I am very happy at coming to India,” he had said.

Mick Jagger, the founder and frontman of The Rolling Stones, was recently seen enjoying the match between Pakistan and England at Eden Garden in Kolkata on Saturday. He was also spotted enjoying a lively visit to the City of joy-Kolkata. He is a massive cricket fan and was reportedly came as a guest of the English team. And later on the same week, he was seen immersing himself to the Diwali and Kali Pujo. He was spotted dressed in printed shirt, pants and cap in several corners of the city.

He also conveyed Diwali and Khali Pujo wishes on Instagram and Facebook, “Happy Diwali and Khali Pujo. Subh Deepavali aur Jai Kali Ma”
