Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute about 51,000 appointment letters to newly elected recruits on Tuesday via video conferencing. The appointment letters will be given at 10:30 AM. The Rozgar Mela will be held at 46 locations across the country.
The Rozger Mela is an event where a number of employers and job seekers come together for the purpose of applying and interviewing for jobs. It is conducted as a step towards fulfilment of the commitment of PM to accord highest priority to employment generation. It will act as a catalyst in further employment generation. It will also provide opportunities for the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.
The recruitments will take place across both the Central Government department as well as State governments or Union Territories supporting the initiatives.
The new employees will be joining the governments various ministries or departments including Department of Posts, Indian Audit and Accounts Department, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The newly selected members will also get the opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh. Karmayoghi Prarambh is the initiative taken up by the by the government to offer an opportunity to built capacities of government servants in the initial stages and to enable them to contribute to nation building as part of Mission Karmayogi. The employees can train themselves through the online module on iGOK Karmayogi portal, where more than 680 e-learning courses have been made available for ‘anywhere any device’ learning format.
