Hyderabad: Man Who Killed Woman For Rejecting Proposal Dies From Injuries Due To Mob Attack
Mahbubnagar, Hyderabad: A jilted lover, who suffered serious injuries after passerby people attacked him while he was killing a woman in Jadcherla town on Saturday afternoon, died while undergoing treatment in government hospital in Mahbubnagar district.
The man had murdered the woman for allegedly rejecting his proposal for relationship. According to Mahbubnagar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), P Vekateswarlu, the accused man, Teja, aged between 28 and 30 died around 11 pm on Saturday.

The DSP said Teja suffered serious injuries after villagers chased him for over 400 metres and caught hold of him. They tied his hands and legs with a rope and assaulted him resulting in serious injuries. When villagers repeatedly asked who the victim was, Teja said she fell in love with him, exploited him by taking money and duped him in the name of love.
The deceased woman, Vaishnavi, who was working at a private school in Polepally Special Economic Zone (SEZ) as a receptionist on the outskirts of Jadcherla town, was heading home after her work when Teja attacked her in the road. Teja stabbed 22-year-old Vaishnavi to death after she rejected his romantic advances.
The incident took place when the woman was getting out of an autorickshaw after completing her work and was about to reach her home in a couple of minutes. The accused attacked the woman with a knife, injuring her neck. She was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Following the attack, people present at the spot allegedly assaulted the accused, who was later admitted to a government hospital in critical condition, police said.
A police officer said the accused and the victim had become acquainted when she was working at a private school in Hyderabad. She had rejected his advances and the two had disputes thereafter, the officer said.
