
Ex-Army Man Claims To Kill, Chops Wife; Investigation Is Progressing, Says Police
Hyderabad: Gurumurthy, an ex-Army Man from Hyderabad has allegedly killed his wife and disposed of her body parts at different locations, as per the reports. However, police have not be able to locate body of woman or able to verify any of the claims Gurumurthy has made. “As of now investigation is progressing as the “missing person” case. We have now main suspect, husband of Venkata Madhavi is in custody,” Ch Praveen Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, L B Nagar, told Timeline Daily.
Venkata Madhavi, reported missing by her family on January 16. When the police started the investigation, they suspected her husband and it was in the questioning, Gurumurthy allegedly confessed the crime to the police.

As per the reports, Gurumurthy told the police that he chopped his wife’s body in the bathroom and separated flesh and bones. Then boiled flesh in a pressure cooker and ground the bones using a pestle and boiled them again. He reported cooked the flesh and bones for three days and after that he packed them in a bag and dumped it in a lake.
Gurumurthy works as an outsourced security guard at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) facility in Kanchan Bagh. Gurumurthy and Madhavi is married for 13 years and the couple has two children. Madhavi went missing from Hyderabad’s Meerpet locality on January 16.
