Woman Found Dead After Checking Into Hyderabad Hotel With Man

A 26-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hotel room in Hyderabad on Friday, prompting police to investigate whether the death was a case of suicide or murder.

The deceased has been identified as Renuka, a resident of Alwal in Hyderabad. Her body was discovered inside a room at Hotel Grand Lodge near MD Lines.

According to police, Renuka had checked into the hotel with Farooq, a 34-year-old man from the Golconda area, on Thursday night. During questioning,

Farooq reportedly told investigators that he had stepped out of the hotel for some time. When he returned, he allegedly found Renuka hanging inside the room and immediately informed the authorities.

However, Renuka’s family has rejected the suicide claim and alleged that she was murdered. They have expressed suspicion over Farooq’s involvement and have demanded a detailed and impartial investigation into the incident.

Following the report, police reached the hotel, examined the scene, and shifted the body to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination. The forensic findings are expected to play a crucial role in determining the exact cause of death.

Police have taken Farooq into custody for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation. Officials said they are examining all possible angles, including suicide, homicide, and the circumstances leading up to the woman’s death.
