They got married in April last year.
Celebrated IAS officer Tina Dabi and her husband and fellow IAS officer Pradeep Gawande welcomed their baby boy in a Jaipur hospital on Friday, a year after their wedding.
The couple met during the Covid-19 pandemic when they were tasked with ensuring supplies. They got married on April 22 last year.
Tina Dabi is the 2015 Indian Administrative Services topper. She is the first person from a Dalit community to top the prestigious civil services examination, and also the first female district collector of Jaisalmer.
She is an officer of the 2016 Rajasthan cadre and was last posted as District Magistrate in Jaisalmer. She was earlier posted in Jaipur as the Joint Secretary of Finance (Tax) to the Rajasthan government.
On July 14, she left an Instagram post that she was taking a break from work. Last week, Tina Dabi”s sister Ria Dabi shared photos of the baby shower celebration.
Ms Dabi was initially married to her batchmate Athar Amir Khan, but they divorced later and she married Pradeep Gawande.
Pradeep Gawande is a 2013-batch IAS officer who hails from Maharashtra”s Latur. Mr Gawande is an MBBS graduate and is now an IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre.
