IRCTC Website Faces Technical Issues, Halts E-Booking

Since 10 am, booking has not been available on the website. However, IRCTC has not disclosed the exact reason behind the anomaly.
The website displayed a message “Due to maintenance activity, e-ticketing service is not available. Please try later.” “For cancellation/file TDR, please call at customer care no. 14646, 0755-6610661 & 0755-4090600 OR MAIL AT etickets@irctc.co.in.”
Frustrated, many passengers expressed their concerns on social media. According to a user, “The page is facing technical issues since 10 am. Tatkal window: 1. Not able to pay; 2. Payment dropped; 3. After payment deducted, IRCTC redirect pays shows error.”
Another user wrote, “I need to partially cancel my ticket, and my train is in the next few hours. Could you please help immediately, otherwise I will not receive a refund?”
