IRCTC Website, App Down: Passengers Struggle To Book Tatkal Tickets.
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation’s (IRCTC) website and mobile app experienced a major outage on Thursday morning, preventing passengers from booking Tatkal tickets.
Users encountered error messages citing “maintenance activity” when trying to access the platform. This is the second major disruption this month, following a scheduled maintenance period on December 9.
The latest crash particularly affected travellers seeking Tatkal tickets which can only be booked one day before departure.
