While inaugurating the School of Eminence in Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal addressed the audience and said he wants to tell Shah Rukh Khan that in all of India, the Aam Aadmi Party is the only party that will work for the education of the children and for the better health facilities for the people.
CM Kejriwal said, “Since 75 years of independence, no party or government has ever come and asked for votes to build schools and hospitals. Even after the AAP came into existence, they still don”t say this. They have a bad intent.”
He further mentions Shah Rukh Khan’s much-discussed monologue in the Atlee directorial, Jawan. After praising the Jawan movie, he quotes: “In the film Jawan, Shahrukh Khan says that if someone comes asking for your vote, do not vote in the name of religion or caste. He says that whoever comes to ask for votes, you should ask him, will you give good education to our children? If someone in our house falls ill, will you provide them with good treatment?”
To Mr. Khan’s monologue, Kejriwal responds to the crowd: “I want to tell Shah Rukh Khan that AAP is the only party in the entire country that says vote for us because we will work to provide good education to your children.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s strong political monologue in the climax scene has not just impressed the viewers but has a separate fan base of its own. As Jawan fever still continues, through Kejriwal’s speech, monologue invited discussions in political arena as well.
Kejriwal, along with his Punjab counterpart, Bhagwant Singh Mann inaugurated first “School of Eminence” on Wednesday. It will be first of its kind in the Punjab, and will play significant role in providing quality education to the children of the state, said an official statement. The ‘School of Eminence’ has smart classrooms, modern infrastructure and labs, and playgrounds having facilities for various sports, the statement added.
