Karnataka: Cyber Frauds Claim Rs 5,474 Crore In 3 Years, Says State Home Minister
Bengaluru, Karnataka: Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Wednesday informed the Legislative Assembly that a whopping Rs 5,474 crore was lost to cyber fraud cases in the state over the last three years.
The minister was responding to a question by a member of the rising digital fraud cases.

The official data presented in the house showed that Karnataka witnessed a total of 22,255 cybercrime cases in 2023, 22,478 cases in 2024, and 13,000 cases to date in 2025. However, only 6,159 cases solved in 2023, 3,549 in 2024, and a mere 1,009 in 2025 so far.
