NHAI Collected Rs 61,408 Crore Toll In 2024-25: Centre Discloses Ten Years Toll Revenue
New Delhi: The Union Government on Thursday, December 18 disclosed the total revenue generated by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) through toll collection across the country during the last ten years.
According to the NHAI, the government collected a total toll revenue of Rs 61,408 crore in the financial year 2024-25, suggesting a substantial revenue due to the growing traffic and usage of national highways in the country. As per the data, it is estimated that an average daily toll revenue of Rs 168.24 crore has been generated from the national highways. Approximately 3.2 crore lakh were collected as toll revenue during the past ten years.

The toll revenue has increased significantly over the years, from Rs 17,759 crore in 2015-16 to Rs 61,408.15 crore in 2024-25. From 2021, the toll revenue saw a substantial rise from around 33,000 to over 60,000 in 2024-25, according to the data shared by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
