Nanditha is the daughter of former BRS legislator late G Sayanna and she was elected from the Secunderabad Cantonment assembly constituency last November.
G Sayanna was a five-time MLA from the constituency. He died of illness on February 19 last year. Sayanna is a popular Dalit leader. Lasiya had been an active member of the party and also served as a corporator in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Cooperation from the Kavadiguda division.
Meanwhile, the police are yet to give a clarity on the incident. It is suspected that the car was traveling at high speed and lost control in the process, reports The News Minute.
Recently, Lasya has met with another car accident. After escaping the accident with narrow injuries she shared on X, “Was involved in an accident on the way back from Nalgonda. I’m okay, and there’s nothing to worry about. Grateful for everyone’s concern and support”.
