Telangana: BJP Workers Storm Urdu Class, Slaps Teacher In Armoor
Nizamabad, Telangana: A row has erupted in Telangana’s Armoor after a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader allegedly slapped an Urdu teacher, Amer, at Bharat Chandra School in Armoor, Nizamabad district, Telangana.
The teacher was a resident of Ziyarat Nagar, was teaching Urdu when the incident allegedly occurred in the presence of police, sparking outrage and a subsequent call for a Nizamabad bandh.

The BJP leader along with other party workers stormed the school premises and verbally abused and slapped the teacher while a class was in session, opposing Urdu being offered as a second language. The assaulters alleged children were exposed to religious content and had shown behavioral changes.

The alleged assault has sparked outrage among Urdu teachers, social organizations, and local residents. They condemned the incident, stating that any attack on a teacher while performing official duties is unacceptable and creates fear among educators.
Citizens have demanded a fair and transparent investigation, registration of a case against those responsible, and strict legal action. Police have reportedly received a complaint and said that the matter is under investigation.
