This visionary leader died at the age of 92 on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He was rushed to AIIMS Delhi’s emergency department earlier in the evening after his health took a turn for the worse.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) announced with profound grief that former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away on December 26, 2024, at 92.
According to the hospital, Dr. Singh was being treated for age-related medical conditions and suffered a sudden loss of consciousness at home. Despite immediate resuscitative measures and emergency treatment at AIIMS, he could not be revived and was declared dead at 9:51 PM who left behind a legacy of remarkable service to the nation.
