'Why Can't Upload This GIF On Instagram?': Congress Slams Platform Over 'Vote Chori' GIF Absence
New Delhi: Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate on Thursday raised concerns about the alleged censorship on social media platform Instagram regarding Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi’s press conference about the ‘vote chori’ revelation.
Shrinate, also the Congress social media chief, asked, “Why can one upload this GIF on Instagram?”

She also pointed out that so many others too are not finding the GIF at all, adding that her team is actively looking into it. “Why can one upload this GIF on Instagram?” And why can’t so many others not find it altogether? “The official response from @instagram: “Our GIF team is looking into it!,” the Congress digital platform chairperson wrote on X.

Rahul Gandhi’s revelations along with supporting documents regarding the alleged irregularities in the election system, including in name, address, and photos of the voters and the discrepancies in the number of votes polled and counted, have ignited serious public debate about the fairness of the electoral process.
The Congress leader had also alleged that the Election Commission, including the Chief Election Commissioner of India, is complicit in the irregularities, which were carried out to benefit the ruling BJP.
