The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) July result was announced today, November 4. Andhra Education Minister Nara Lokesh shared a post on social media regarding the result announcement and wrote, “We are releasing today the results of TET 2024 conducted in July this year. The Mega DSC notification will be released soon, My best wishes to all those who have qualified in TET”.
According to the data released by the Andhra Pradesh government, 4,27,300 candidates were registered for the exam, and 3,68,661 (86.28%) appeared for it. Of the total candidates who appeared for the exam, 1,87,256 successfully cleared it. The overall pass percentage remains 50.79%.

The result was earlier scheduled to be released on November 2, by the Andhra Pradesh govt however, it was delayed due to delays in finalizing the answer key. The AP TEST exam was conducted in two shifts daily from October 3 to 21, 2024. The first shift in the morning started from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm while the second shift started in the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
In the Telugu and minor media category for Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), a total of 1,60,017 candidates were present, and out of them, 1,04,785 candidates cleared the exam with a total pass percentage of 65.48%. In the SGT Special Category 2,173 candidates appeared and 767 have qualified with a pass percentage of 35.3%.

For School Assistants (SA) in languages total of 55,781 candidates appeared and 22,080 successfully cleared the exam with a pass percentage of 39.58%. In the Math and Science category for School Assistants across all media, 88,290 candidates appeared and 33,525 qualified for the exam with a pass percentage of 37.97%.
In Social Studies for SA across all media, 60,442 candidates appeared, while 24,472 candidates qualified for the exam with an overall percentage of 40.49%. In the SA Special Schools category, 1,958 candidates appeared while 1,627 candidates remained successful in clearing the exam.
